My belly button

The universe, by means of random and accident, achieved perfection. Humans, by means of willpower and purpose, struggle to achieve mediocracy. The obvious observation is that humans are incompetent, or at least  defective, somehow.

Nope. Humans concluded that they are the pinnacle, the perfect creation, of that same universe.

And this is why humans need drugs and alcohol.
